In the central coast area of California there is a virtual sea of grapes which climb the hills to underline the sage and ochre mountains with green. The more I visited these magnificent settings while living in California, the more I discovered about the individual personality of each location.

Now that I have moved back to Virginia, I am discovering many new wineries in beautiful settings that I would like to explore with paintings.  This will be a continuation of vineyard paintings that I created in Virginia Vineyards before moving to California seventeen years ago.  Two of the paintings on this page were done in Virginia.
